Hmm, so you are planning for a purple wedding. Before you try to make the entire wedding of yours purple, here are some simple wedding purple ideas and suggestions.

1) Planning for a purple wedding doesn’t mean that everything has to be purple! Remember that less is more. What it means to have a purple wedding is to use PURPLE as a signature color and you still need to use other complementary tones for the complete look.

2) Be careful when you choose a purple bouquet. If you are choosing dark purple blooms, tone the purple bouquet with pinkish, biege, white, yellowish or greenish fillers for a calm and romantic look. Otherwise, choose lighter shades of purple bouquet such as lavender or lilac tones.

3) Purple wedding can be bold, royal or soft – there are many shades of purple. Pick one that suits your style!

4) Purple wedding favors are not easy to find. So to avoid any wedding stress, choose personalized wedding favors and ask for the wrappings or wordings to be printed in purple. Like I said, purple wedding doesn’t mean that everything gotta to be in purple! Shades of pink, mauve, whites are pretty with purple too.

6) A lavender or purplish dress for the bridesmaid or maid in honour can be very beautiful. If you are seriously in love with purple, you too can try out a purple wedding dress but if you can’t find a nice purple fabric, keep to the tradition of white and off whites.
